To provide students with a unique summer workshop experience that teaches the pragmatic, relevant, and heuristic skills necessary to navigate various career paths in the modern performing arts industry, while learning, preparing, and performing repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries.

APPLICATION PROCESS

SHORT ANSWER ESSAY
Explain why you want to participate in this program, why music and the performing arts are important to you, and what kind of career you envision yourself pursuing.

2. PRE-SCREENING/AUDITION MATERIALS

One 2-minute video of applicant introducing themselves (be creative!)
4-7 minute video of applicant performing a piece of music that best showcases their playing ability

APPLICATION CLOSES ONCE ALL 30 SPOTS ARE FILLED.

STUDENTS DECLARE THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE PROGRAM BY THURSDAY, March 29, 2024

3. OPTIONAL REFERENCE LETTER

This is not required, but if submitted, the reference contact should preferably be a teacher or colleague.

50% OF TUITION MUST BE PAID BY THURSDAY, March 29, 2024

Early Registration Program Tuition Total

$600 if declaration of participation and 50% deposit is submitted/paid by March 15, 2024

Standard Registration Program Tuition Total

$675 if declaration of participation and 50% deposit is submitted/paid on March 29, 2024

Tuition covers the costs of renting the facilities, rental equipment, music rentals & purchases, licensing & permissions, and compensating the faculty & administrative staff.
